Privacy and saved progress

Solo progress and sound preferences are stored in your browser. Multiplayer sends a player identifier, display name, room actions, and answers to this edition's server. The project adds no analytics or advertising trackers.

What is saved on your device

Noillirk Online saves your best scores, recently seen prompts, current Daily attempt and sound preference on this device. Multiplayer also remembers your display name and a generated player identifier so you can rejoin as the same player.

Your saves normally stay in this browser until you clear this site's data. They are not a registered account and do not automatically follow you to another device. Earlier saves for this site in this browser are carried forward when possible. If browser storage is unavailable, saving progress may not work.

What multiplayer sends and shares

Joining or creating a room sends your generated identifier, display name, room code, settings and answers to this edition's server. Cloudflare Workers and SQLite-backed Durable Objects store room state and completed scores so a room stays consistent across players and server restarts.

A public waiting room appears in the lobby. Room participants can see display names and scores, and answers are revealed as rounds progress. Completed player names and scores may also appear in this edition's local leaderboard, including after play in a private room.

Private means omitted from the public room list; it is not password protection or a promise of confidential play. Room codes can be shared, and room state is accessible with a valid code. Do not submit personal or sensitive information in display names, room names, or answers.

How to remove or move your saved progress

Use your browser's site-data controls to clear this site's saved data. This removes locally saved progress, sound preferences, and multiplayer identity. The saved-progress panel also lets you export a JSON file or import an existing progress file; the file is handled in the browser.

Rooms expire after two hours without a room action. Leaving removes your active room membership; an empty room is removed. Completed names and scores may remain in this edition's leaderboard, which keeps up to 100 entries and displays the top 20. Clearing browser data does not remove server-side scores. There is no account or automated server-data deletion portal.
